Oradea, The Olosig Roman-Catholic church
România Roads > Nagyvárad
In this place the franciscan friars built a church and a abbey between 1732 and 1743. The church was transformed in 1876 by Knapp Ferenc, who added the tower to it.
In the period of 1903-1905 the navy of the church was rebuilt and they added two more secondary towers in eclectic style after the project of architect Rimanóczy Kálmán jr. From the old church remained only the crypt and six lateral altars while the building of the old abbey belongs to the military hospital.
