Dârlos, Evangelical fortified church

Dârlos is a known settlement since 1317. It is a famous viticulturist region.

Its evangelical church built in gothic style was built in 16th century. It has merely one main part without a separate chore or tower. The inner side of the church has certain paintings being made in the early 16th century.

The window frames are nicely ornamented. In the latter part of the church, or in its back there is something unique in Transylvania, there are some paintings outside the church on the walls. The Virgin Maria with the small Jesus, as well as the troubles of Jesus and his sufferings are visible. Within the walls there are some reliques from the Roman Empire, being built within the walls.
