The Roman Catholic parish is one of the oldest buildings in the city. The corner side was built in 1450. In the wall of the staircase there is a Gothic plate that references the year of construction. Above the entrance, where 1799 is entered, there is a bas-relief with St. Michael.

Upstairs there is another plate from 1773, with a bas relief and inscription commemorating the visit of Emperor Joseph II to Cluj from 25 to 27 June. On that occasion he was accommodated in this building. In the courtyard of the parish was arranged the permanent exhibition of sculptor Szervátiusz Jenő.
